Unlike some other reviews I found this flag pole to work quite well in the wind, but only if you put the rings rotating mounting correctly! The ring must be placed in the upper left corner about 1 "to 2" from the ball with the adjustment screw on the top. the rotating mounting ring should have the bottom screw on the bottom. tighten the upper ring where you want the flag and leave the bottom ring loose. install the flag on clips and pull the bottom ring down until the flag is quite
