my American flag kept wrapped around the flag Pole! I knew there were some fantasy stakes with Swivel rings, but I wanted to keep the pole that I had. These small rotating rings did the trick (about 95% of the time). too bad they are made of plastic, I may have to replace within a year or so-a metal of the same design with a ball bearing ring it would be worth the extra cost, but $ 3.25.
